Nyamoko lashes out at MCAs over wrangles, poor delivery

North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko has faulted members of Nyamira County Assembly over the current leadership wrangles, tension and poor service delivery being witnessed in the county.

Nyamoko claimed the MCAs have abandoned their role of over sighting the county executive and were now busy engaging themselves in witch hunt, rent-seeking and petty politics which he termed as retrogressive and unproductive.

He said a section of the MCAs have of late developed a high a petite for money and extortion,  a trend that has made them vulnerable into  being compromised by the county executive.

The lawmaker claimed that corruption and mismanagement of the county resources is rampant in the county assembly. “Our members of the  County Assembly have become a big shame because of the activities they are  indulging themselves in.

They have decided to embrace the culture of bribery, handouts and witch hunt and petty politics at the expense of service delivery,” Nyamoko claimed.
