State House race: Ruto camps in Mount Kenya counties

United Democratic Alliance (UDA) presidential candidate William Ruto is set to take his vote hunt mission to three Mount Kenya East counties on Thursday, July 28.

Ruto will camp in Meru, Tharaka Nithi, and Embu counties where he will seek to consolidate his perceived stronghold ahead of the August 9 polls.

The UDA leader will kick off his campaign at Maua in Igembe South Constituency before addressing a rally at Tuskys area in Meru town, North Imenti Constituency.

At 1 pm, Ruto will head to Marimanti in Tharaka Constituency where he will address one rally and conclude his Tharaka Nithi tour at 3 pm in Chuka town (Chuka Igambang’ombe Constituency).

In Embu County, the Deputy President will be in Mbeere at 4 pm before winding up his day at Embu town in Mayatta Constituency.
